Release Day Launch!! Review- Rock With Me by Kristen Proby

Rock With Me (With Me in Seattle #4)
by Kristen Proby
Published on: TODAY! 5/2/13

Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.
Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.

The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide. But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?

When my email dinged with a message from InkSlinger for the Release Day Launch of Kristen Proby's newest With Me in Seattle book I almost threw my phone in happiness. No, you don't understand, I LOVE this series. And then for this one to have my ultimate guy weakness- a bad boy rocker- I was in heaven.

In this installment, all of your favorites are back. And being that Samantha is Luke's sister you get an extra helping of Luke and Nat (who just so happen to be my favorite coupling). Samantha is the ultimate workaholic. Up until the end of the previous book she worked as a writer for a magazine. That is until they asked her to do one too many stories about her family and close friends. Now she's out of a job and determined to keep that fact hidden from everyone. At a family gathering she runs into her friend Meg's brother (who was briefly introduced in Meg and Will's book Play With Me), sexy rock star Nash and the sexual tension and chemistry between the two is HAWT. And when I say HAWT I mean hot enough to make you blush just reading it.

"Don't ever lie to me, sunshine. I don't ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I'm inside you."

Yeah, he said that.

But of course nothing is easy. Samantha is dead set against being in a relationship with a celebrity. Between being seen solely as "Luke Williams' Sister" and a bad experience dating a celebrity before Sam tries to avoid this relationship like the plague. She's always been leery of relationships in general, but the feelings Leo invokes scares her. I will say that Sam warmed to me in this book. She had this cold, uber biotch vibe going in previous books (especially book 1) but you start to get her and get why she comes across this way. She is insanely independent, and extremely selfless.

And since I'm delving a little into MCs- Leo. Oh Leo. I want to lick his stars right along with everyone else. But besides that, he is sweet and sincere and a little bit damaged under all of his bad-assed-ness. And you fall head over heels in LOVE with this guy. Pretty much right after the flu scene (you'll see).

This was a sweet, easy read. I love this series and how (besides love and sexiness) it revolves around the love and commitment of family.
