Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading and slightly altered by thebookcafeblog.com
So here's a reminder of the "rules" of Teaser Tuesdays:
• Grab your current read
• Share 2 “teaser” sentences from a random page in your book or a part you really liked and post it as a teaser.
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away; you don’t want to ruin the book for others!
• Share the TITLE and AUTHOR too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.

I just started reading A Song for Julia (Thompson Sisters) by Charles Sheehan-Miles. I'm a little more than halfway through it and I am completely in love with it. So I went to my Kindle and entered in a random location number in the range of what I've already read, (I kinda flipped thru a few more pages and came across this gem) and here is a little teaser from the book. Hope you enjoy :)
“What do you want from me, Crank?” Her voice was raw, desperate.
I looked at her. She was so close, but might as well have been a thousand miles away. I said, “I want you to love me.”
“Why can’t you just leave well enough alone?” she asked. In a mocking tone, she said, “Hi, I’m Crank, and I’m irresistible. Let me take you to the beach and see if we can get sexy.”
She was all woman. Proud, and angry, and isolated, and in some ways, scary as hell, but this was no innocent girl. She’d been through the wringer.

Interesting Teaser. Curious who the wringer is though, lol. Also, I'm a new follower from Goodreads. You can follow back here:
