**Dirty Deeds is the second book in the Dirty Angels Trilogy and can be read as a standalone. While not as dark as Dirty Angels, it still contains content which may be disturbing to sensitive readers.**
As a flight attendant, Alana Bernal has had her share of suitors. She’s also had more than her fair share of tragedy within her messed-up family. But what she hasn’t had is love. Real, rip-your-heart-out, tear-your-clothes-off, all-consuming love.
At least that was the case until she met an American tourist, Derek Conway, a ripped ex-soldier with steely eyes and a commanding presence.
What started as a chance encounter between the two in Puerto Vallarta, a weekend full of hot sex and mindless passion, has led to something more.
Because Derek isn’t the type of man to fall in love. He’s not a man who sticks around.
And he’s definitely not in Mexico on vacation.
Derek is a mercenary, a killer-for-hire, a man who does the ugly jobs for the highest bidder.
Unfortunately for Alana and Derek, the highest bidder has the power to destroy whatever worlds they have created for themselves.
The highest bidder can destroy everything.

Dirty Deeds is book 2 in this series so STOP NOW if you have not read Dirty Angels!! The final book, Dirty Promises is out in September.
Dirty Deeds revolves around Alana Bernal, sister of Mexican cartel leader Javier Bernal. Someone wants Alana dead and a hit man is hired, Derek Conway. Only Alana knows him as Derrin, the man who saved her life when someone tried to run her over after work one day. Only Derrin was the one hired to kill her.
“Change was frightening. Change made you weak. And I didn't want any part of it. But I wanted part of her. That was a problem.” ~Derrin
Needless to say, Derek and Alana fall for each other as he continues to keep her out of danger, because, you know since Derek didn't kill her, the man that hired Derek to begin with wants to make sure the job gets done. As they run across Mexico dodging assassination attempts, Derek falls in love with her and is about to tell her his secret when BAM, she finds out another way. And the twists keep coming! Alana finds out who it was that hired Derek to begin with and runs off, putting her in even more danger. And here is where the twists start so I am going to just stop here! *Wink*
I have to say that I looooooved Dirty Angels. Javier and Luisa's story was great, as well as the action and the characters. I didn't love Dirty Deeds. It was still a good read, I just had a really hard time getting into the characters. Derek was a total ego nut in the beginning describing his body and how he looked and that he never had any trouble getting women. *Bleh* that does nothing for me really. It took me over a week to read this which is a really long time for me and I had to force the first half.
The last few chapters were GREAT, which totally made up for the first half of the book.
